Use a Bow Tie to Outshine President Obama
Something epic happened last Friday; noted bow tie devotee Bill Nye the Science Guy outshined US President Barack Obama and Astrophysicist/funny guy Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Nye and Tyson were at the White House to attend the first-ever White House student film festival, which focused on technology’s role in American classrooms.
The peeps over at the sci-fi themed blog io9, summed up the most important aspect of this event:
If there’s one thing we can take away from this photo, it’s that President Obama’s tie game is seriously lacking.
May I also add that Nye also showed up Tyson with his bow tie. That says a lot as Tyson is the current “it guy” with his highly anticipated television series Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey, which is a follow up to the influential 1980 PBS series Cosmos: A Personal Journey hosted by Carl Sagan, airing soon on multiple TV channels.
So, if you’re ever able to take a selfie with the President of the United States, wear a bow tie.
